Last week I was lucky enough to be exhibited at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art, as part of the Corbis Creatives behind the Lens competition. Out of 500ish photos from other creative people in the advertising Industry, the judges selected two of mine as winners including ‘Therapy’ (pictured above), and a street shot from my Time to Pretend series titled ‘Tango’.

The exhibition will be traveling down to Melbourne in the next few months, so if you’re down there go and check it out!

I came across french fashion photographer David Bellemere about a week ago, and haven’t been able to get his work out of my head since. These are fashion photographs moonlighting as fine art. Or vice versa.

I looked into quite a few systems which all made it easy to update my images, add new galleries etc – I used indexhibit on my old site, and while it was simple to use the customisation was a little bit too complex. Foliolink is another easy to use option, but I wanted to build a little bit more interactivity into it – and so I’ve gone with wordpress, using slideshow pro to display my portfolio.

It’s taken a lot of tweaking/learning – but after about 3 weeks work the new site is here. Would love to know what you think?
